"Mystic of the Woods"

An engraved tattoo about a Celtic witch

Have you ever had a special connection with an ancient culture?

No?

That's fine, but my client, in this case, did. Since she was a child, she'd always been fascinated with Celtic culture, and on this occasion, she asked me to design a forest witch for her.

I drew inspiration from ancient engravings, seeking to recreate their mysticism. I used the image of Flidais as a reference; she has been considered for many years the goddess responsible for protecting forests and wildlife, also representing a strong connection with fertility.

I created this project by combining the engraved style with the thick lines typical of traditional tattooing, along with fine line work and dotwork.

The size is 8 by 7 inches, and it cost $1,000.
