"Amphora"

A Traditional tattoo about an ancient jar

I designed this tattoo thinking of a Greek vase containing love.

But not love for a partner, rather for nature, for life, for the simple things that surround us, things we often overlook.

That's why, if you look closely, you'll see a heart and details reminiscent of ocean waves, rain, day and night, and ornamental plants, but not the flowers I typically use to represent love in general.

This project was 5 by 3 inches and cost around $600.
